Coming up later this summer is our next 5th Sunday Missions Activity. The activity will take place on July 30th during the 10am Discipleship Hour at Smyrna First United Methodist Church. However, we will be collecting supplies for this activity all summer long. Please join us in our efforts to get needed school supplies to the children in our community by donating supplies for the cause and packing backpacks as well.

This year, we will fill each backpack with the following school supplies:

• 2 boxes of #2 pencils
• 2 boxes of Crayola crayons
• 1 box of colored pencils
• 2 composition notebooks
• 2 spiral notebooks
• 1 pack of wide ruled notebook paper
• 1 pack of large glue sticks
• 1 pair of child-safe scissors
• 2 packs of pencil cap erasers
• 1 pack of large erasers
• 1 two inch 3-ring binder
• 3 two pocket folders
• 1 pack (box) of black pens
• 1 pencil pouch/ box
• 1 small bottle of hand sanitizer
• 1 pack of index cards
• 1 pack of Post-its
