EMERGENCY HOUSING FOR SENIORS
According to an Actionable Intelligence for Social Policy report at the University of Pennsylvania, the number of homeless individuals in the U.S. over 55 could grow to 225,000 by 2026, up from 170,000 in 2017.
Fortunately, there are programs that provide emergency housing and support for seniors in crisis. Assitedliving.org created a user-friendly emergency housing guide that shares where and how to find emergency housing programs across the U.S.
