In partnership with Action Ministries, the Tillman House offers a Food Box Program that is open to all Cobb County families.
The Tillman House opens its doors every Saturday from 9am-12pm to serve the community.
We need volunteers every Saturday to help process the Food Box requests. We would love for you to join us!

We have clients who regularly have to decide if they can afford food OR diapers because they can’t afford both! So we developed programs to help relieve the stress families face. The Tillman House offers the following programs to those in need:
We rely on the support of our volunteers to help meet the needs of our community through these programs. Volunteers can form their own group to collect supplies and assemble items for any of these programs. Groups can assemble from their own designated location or volunteers are welcome to assemble at the Tillman House. Is your schedule a challenge? Volunteers can also provide support by simply donating supplies and have them delivered straight to the Tillman House! Use the following Amazon links to make your donations today:
Do you have a passion for teaching and serving your community? At the Tillman House we are seeking education volunteers for the Cliff Jordan Education program! Education volunteers serve the community by teaching practical tools for personal growth and development through free classes and programs designed to stimulate learning and instill independence.
These classes are held at the Tillman House and there is a place for you!
To find out more about how you can get involved and help change lives in your community, please contact us at the Tillman House during office hours or click here for more details.
The Tillman House offers an Elementary After School Tutoring Program for 1st grade through 3rd grade students. These classes have been temporarily postponed due to Covid-19. We hope to resume Fall 2021. If you are interested in being part of the team when we resume this fall, please contact us at the Tillman House to learn more.
The Table at Tillman meets every third Saturday of the month at 5 pm and we welcome anyone looking for an unconventional way to draw closer to God. This is a very casual gathering outdoors (weather permitting) or in the fellowship hall.
There is a message of HOPE followed by a delicious meal and fellowship. If you would like to volunteer to serve at the Table at Tillman, please call the Tillman House during office hours.
