The Tillman House is a resource center focused on serving the needs of the community and breaking the cycle of poverty one relationship at a time. 

Search the book of Acts and you’ll find the foundation for Tillman House in Chapter 1, verse 8. 

Tillman House Foundation Director of Education Alan Nicely will tell you that one way this verse can be adjusted is as follows:  “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem (Smyrna), and in Judea (Georgia) and the Samaria (forgotten places), and to the ends of the earth (our world).” 

When the Tillman House resource center opened its doors in 2018, it made a conscious decision to put a priority on building relationships with those in the community who are in need OF HELP and those who need TO HELP.
